Tower works as a power in the day, and turns to a waterfall at night!

The city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will host the 2016 Summer Olympics, and with this occasion, the architecture RAFAA group in Zurich provided a great proposed to work of a solar tower to be a hallmark of the city.

The tower characterized by its form and its work, while the sun in the daytime the tower work as a generator of solar energy to feed the needs of the city and the Olympic village of electricity.

While the excess energy will be used to pump sea water to the top of the tower, and when the sun sets the launch of this stored water to make a great waterfall that move the turbines to generate electricity for the tower and lighting the city streets.
The tower high is 105 meters, and inside will contain a restaurant and places to sit and watch behind the waterfall that give a scene of great nature around, because the city of Rio de Janeiro is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The tower will contain a platform for fans of the ropes jumping game at a height of 90.5 meters.
The RAFAA group said that waterfall can be run during the day to give a distinctive landscape of the city during special events.

The RAFAA group said that they want through this tower to expression of "a force of nature".

I think this tower is really "WOW"!!! It has 2 functions and the design is really artistic. Want to see it when it's done.
